Why does the soap contain sodium hydroxide?
Sodium hydroxide, also known as lye, is an essential ingredient in the traditional soap-making process. During saponification, it reacts completely with the vegetable oils and is no longer present in the finished soap when the process is properly carried out.

Virtually all solid soaps are produced using this method. Therefore, the use of sodium hydroxide during manufacturing does not affect the natural or organic character of the final product.

Why does the soap contain fragrance?
The fragrance used in our soap is of natural origin and complies with cosmetic regulations. It is added solely to provide a pleasant sensory experience and does not compromise the quality of the organic ingredients.

The key ingredients, including date seed oil and date seed powder, remain at the heart of the formulation.

Step 1 — Cleanse
Use the Natural Date Seed Soap on wet skin. Lather gently, cleanse the skin and rinse thoroughly.

Step 2 — Exfoliate
Take a small amount of Gentle Exfoliating Scrub and mix it with a small amount of water, oil or your preferred skincare base to create a natural paste. Apply gently to the skin, massage softly and rinse thoroughly.

Step 3 — Nourish
Apply a few drops of Date Seed Oil into the palm of your hand. Rub your hands together to warm the oil, then gently massage onto the skin or apply through the lengths and ends of the hair as desired. Use on clean skin or hair.
